Happy St. PADDY"S Day!

I thought Grammarly was wrong about this, no one writes St. Patty's, but I saw a sign in a medical lab this morning that read, "Happy St. Patty's Day!" When I pointed out St. Paddy was spelled wrong an employee said, "At least they get an A for effort."
No, no, they don't. You get an A for excellent work and a F for getting it wrong and then not correcting your mistake.

RIP Linda Lee (Sept. 13, 1955 - Sept. 13, 2014 )

A tall tree, turn and face the west
Oh we're running with the wind
On high cliff top we're waiting with the rest
For this journey to begin

And these broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly at all

See how we laugh, maybe we should crawl
And beg to be excused
We shout loudly, have answers to it all
But we have been refused

And these broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly at all

Girl child, you're dancing with the wind
Growing with the silver trees
Your young questions, you ask me what it means
But I am not at ease

And these broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly at all

A tall tree, turn and face the west
Oh we're running with the wind
On high cliff top we're waiting with the rest
For this journey to begin

And these broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly at all

These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly
These broken wings won't fly

The More Things Change

Selma, Alabama, Sunday March 7, 1965.

The More They Stay The Same

University of Oklahoma student members of the school's chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity sang the following song Saturday night on their "Date Party" bus.

There will never be a nigger SAE,
There will never be a nigger SAE,
There will never be a nigger SAE,

You can hang them from a tree,
But they'll never sign with me,
There will never be a nigger SAE!

"People who believe the Progressive storyline that America is a racist society believe it because they want to believe it, even though racist attitudes, now reserved to the lower classes and uneducated, no longer have any power or influence in American society."
- Peter Ferrara , Heartland Institute

"I like living in a country where a black president elected twice complains about racism."
- John Nolte, breitbart.com

"(R)acism against blacks was gone by the time I started touring the nation in the late '60s."
-Ted Nuget,  former Rockstar

Do Dogs Ever Dream They Are Wolves?

There are some dogs which, when you meet them, remind you that, despite thousands of years of man-made evolution, every dog is still only two meals away from being a wolf.

I Am Learning To Sew- Project 17

Sewing project 17- Lots of small bags so I could practice sewing zippers. Six of them are for the two little girls my sister takes care of and one is for the sewing feet and accessories that came with my new sewing machine.
